SOUNDZINE 3: Lend Us Your Ears!
Wow, let us just start by saying that this issue was a LOT of fun to put together.
Massive thanks to all who've helped out, past and present-- without our contributors and staff, we'd be .. a big ol' empty zine. Hee.
One of the great things about doing SZ is that we get to meet so many great people as well as see/read their work., and have discovered some wonderfully creative galleries. Special thanks must go to those artists who came to our rescue with pics for last-minute lit submissions.
ANYHOW-- who's featuring in Issue 3? Check out the list below, and give them some love. We're pretty darned picky about who we publish (well, hey, we have to be) so you know they are bound to have some quality
Soundzine Call For Submissions- Attn: Songwriters! The second issue of Soundzine has proved another brilliant success, and our readership is really booming! Many thanks to all our contributors and supporters so far.Soundzine Call For Submissions- Attn: Songwriters! by Soundzine
Issue 3, due out on October 15, is coming up fast and submissions are now open for poetry, prose and fine art/photography.
EXCITING NEW FEATURE: MUSIC!
We are now also looking for original lyrics and music that suit the tone of our magazine: lyrics that are poetic in nature, that evoke thought as well as feeling, and well-crafted music that appeals to mind and heart as well. What are not looking for are grunge/metal/rap/bubblegum pop songs, especially those with repetitive words that say the same things that have been said a million times already.
Up to three original songs should be submitted in e-mail attachment as mp3 files, with the lyrics in the body of the e-mail. Lyrics must be well-presented, spell-check
